PENTAX is an Italian based company that produces high-quality hydraulic pumps. To ensure the best quality Pentax tests each product at least twice before it leaves the facility. Their passion and experience has led to successfully cater to customers in over 120 countries worldwide.
Pentax manually created the price list in Microsoft Publisher format and converted it to PDF.
Pentax was searching for a tool that would give them easy usable templates on InDesign and allow them to quickly import and export their data from excel to streamline their process of creating price lists.
Pagination started by doing an in-depth analysis of their data file, as it is very complex with many different products and information. We developed a solution to automatically simplify their data file during the document production process. Pagination made this decision having future developments and maintenance in mind, because having a simplified data file allows for faster operation times.
Our team then created a prototype based on their InDesign and Excel file. Thanks to Pagination, creating a price list is now a smooth process and they can easily add their own covers and static pages.
