Product data in Plytix

Using product information from Plytix in InDesign is a common practice for very good reasons. The core elements of a catalog or price list are product attributes: codes, descriptions, prices, variants, technical specifications and associated media. Plytix is designed to manage exactly this type of structured information in a central, controlled environment.

• Data & templates

Companies export structured product data from Plytix, typically in Excel or CSV format, containing all the attributes needed for publication. These data files are uploaded into Pagination’s cloud platform and combined with custom InDesign templates that define layout, branding, and covers. This ensures that every document respects brand guidelines while remaining easy to update whenever the data changes.
